Owner & Stylist | Branding Iron Beauty Bar
Hi, I’m Shaye, the proud owner and stylist behind Branding Iron Beauty Bar — where western charm meets modern luxury. I’ve always believed in doing things a little differently, which is why I created a salon space with a western twist — warm, inviting, and tailored to elevate your beauty experience with a luxe edge.
My specialties include blonding, precision cuts, custom color, and extensions — all designed to enhance your natural beauty and fit your lifestyle. Whether you’re after a bold transformation or a subtle refresh, my goal is always to deliver results that make you feel confident and seen.
Outside of the salon, you’ll find me soaking up the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, traveling, listening to music, and loving life with my two pups, Spur and Rockett. I can’t wait to welcome you to the Branding Iron Beauty Bar family!
Malyn McKinnon
Stylist | Branding Iron Beauty Bar
I’m Malyn McKinnon, a stylist at Branding Iron Beauty Bar! I was born and raised in Gardnerville. I’ve always had a love for beauty, and becoming a cosmetologist was a dream come true. I specialize in men’s cuts, lived-in color, and extensions, with a focus on helping my clients feel confident and their best.
I studied cosmetology right here in Carson City, and one of my proudest accomplishments is following my passion to do hair. Now, I’m not only a hairstylist but also a wife to my wonderful husband, Connor, and soon-to-be mom. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and our two pups, Maverick and Goose.
When I’m not at the salon, you’ll find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes to share with loved ones. I’m excited for what the future holds, both in my career, and personal life and I’m grateful for the journey so far.
David Anthony
Stylist | Branding Iron Beauty Bar
Hi, I’m David, a stylist at Branding Iron Beauty Bar! I am 32 years old & Ive been in the industry for about 14 years (thank you jesus). I’m deaf out of my left ear and able to read lips. I graduated from Paul Mitchell the School Reno & CCBA. I offer custom colors, color corrections, women’s haircut and much more. I also have an extension of myself for makeup and updos over @divaliciousstylesnv.
My goal is to empower beautiful confident women in my chair and show case their beauty.
When I’m not at the salon I’m at the gym getting my own peace of zen in and relaxing doing what I love. If not there, any vacation time that requires flying, I love exploring.
